Japanese toy brand ’16 Directions’ (Japanese: ジュウロクホウイ, meaning ’16 directions’, commonly abbreviated as 16d), which has released various wrestlers’ rubber figures, is about to introduce a new product featuring the renowned American WWE wrestler and current Hollywood movie star, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Scheduled for release in July 2022, this rubber figure by 16d is based on his late and occasional appearances in WWE, where he is mainly seen with a bald head, a bit of facial hair, tattoo patterns, and classic bullhorn patterns and letters on his shorts. The figure’s raised right hand is a gesture he almost always makes when he enters the ring, embodying the spirit of a people’s champion. The 16d Rubber Model 021 WWE Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson comes in two reference styles, priced at 4,400 yen (including tax), with a planned release date in July 2022. Dimensions: approximately 140mm in height.
